I thought this was cute.
Anyways I wanted to share one of the weirdest things that has ever happened to me.
At 8th grade graduation I gave a speech and stuff and i was just crying my heart out looking out on the audience seeing everyone's parents but my mommy couldn't be there since she passed about 2 years before. After the ceremony I was outside looking for my family members when a lady I didn't know came to me and gave me the biggest hug ever and said "congratulations" and there was just something comforting and beautiful about her. After she let go I found my family and turned around to where she was and she was gone. I told my aunty about it (shes very strong in faith) and she said "that was your mom she was here with you today" and i just got uber sad and cried all the way home.
You know how white kids are VERY vocal about how they hate their parents "DAD I HATE YOU" and just talking to them any ol' kinda way. I promise you'll remember every single moment you even thought you hurt your parent(s) when they're gone. It'll kill you inside. So any grudges you have with your parents, forgive and forget. Say I Love You more often because although you can't imagine not having your parent in your life, the rules of life have already declared a day will come when you don't.
Love Always.

Omg. This made me cry babe. I love you. && I told my parents I love them too. Thanks for this wisdom. Muah.
Kristin, you have a great blog. I started with your latest one and worked my way backwards. I know how you feel with this post. People don't appreciate family here in the U.S.
I should start a blog...lol
Anyways, keep up the interesting posts.
